THE BRAND
Sandai s a small-scale brand, creating handmade accessories and bags for free spirits.

The idea of Sandai was born on a beach in Mexico. While I was daydreaming of creating my own beach bags, my son played a game in the sand he called "sandöga" which means "sand eye" in Swedish. As he told me all about it on our way home, I thought to myself that it was the perfect name.

THE PRODUCTS
Sandai offers a small collection of handcrafted bags. Each piece is carefully curated and most samples are completely one-of-a-kind.
And the best part?
Sandai use recycled yarn from the textile industries, so you can feel good about your purchase while looking absolutely stunning.

I believe in the beauty of simplicity and the power of handmade craftsmanship, my vision is to create sustainable and ethical products that enable my customers to express their unique style.

Sandai is located in Växjö, Sweden but since I spend a few months in Mexico and Spain every year it has made it possible to create a small customer base in all of the countries I consider home.
​
Sandai is only me from idea to product, from packing and shipping to marketing and photography.
That means that production is slow, but made with lots of love!
